Canvas Health is a non-profit, Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) specializing in serving clients who are on Medicaid. Position Summary This position performs behavioral health billing, collection and accounts receivable procedures; monitors and maintains documentation regarding payer reimbursement regulations and procedures; and communicates with clients and staff regarding billing and collection matters. Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma/GED or higher Two (2) years' experience working with health insurance providers (billing, reimbursements, collections) and accounts receivable experience. Intermediate experience with Microsoft Excel and basic Word applications Preferred Qualifications Three (3) years billing, reimbursement and collections experience in a mental health organization Electronic Health Record systems and billing knowledge As an essential healthcare provider, Canvas Health follows all local, state, and federal guidelines regarding COVID-19 precautions.
