Norhart Apprentice Carpenter in Oakdale, Minnesota

As a Finish Carpenter, you play an integral role in creating quality apartments for our residents to call home for years to come. You will work with our team in new construction, building apartments from the ground up. To be successful in this role you must be reliable, detail-oriented, and communicate effectively.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
The following description of work to be performed by this individual is not intended to be all-inclusive. Rather, it focuses on the major tasks that must be accomplished. There are many necessary activities to satisfy any of the following performance guidelines.
Requirements
Ability to read a tape measure
Proficient in using tools such as saws, sanders, drills, planers, etc. is a plus
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Ability to lift 50-75 pounds as needed
Comfortable with ladders & heights
Experience
Experience in trim carpentry is preferred but not required
Experience in woodworking; millwork, cabinet shop, and/or set/stage construction is preferred but not required
Experience in assembly and/or manufacturing background is preferred but not required
Experience installing granite countertops is preferred but not required
