Seeking a Clound Software Engineer to collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain cloud-based solutions. The Cloud Engineer is responsible for ensuring the availability, scalability, and security of our cloud environment, while also optimizing performance and minimizing downtime. Technical expertise, problem-solving skills and use of technology for innovation are crucial in driving successful cloud deployments. Duties and Responsibilities: Design, implement, and maintain cloud-based solutions using Azure, IIS, ASP.net, NIST, web services, and SQL. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, define and document cloud architecture best practices and requirements. Develop and deploy scalable and secure web applications on the cloud platform. Monitor and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure performance, making recommendations for optimization and improvements. Implement and maintain security measures to ensure data protection and compliance with industry standards. Collaborate with developers to ensure proper integration of front-end and back-end components. Provide technical assistance and mentorship to team members, promoting knowledge sharing and continuous improvement. Knowledge, Skills, and Physical Abilities Required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Proven Cloud Engineer experience with expertise in Azure, IIS, ASP.net, NIST, web services, and SQL. Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts, cloud platforms and cloud services. In-depth knowledge of IIS and ASP.net, with the ability to design and deploy web applications. Experience with NIST guidelines and best practices for cybersecurity and compliance. Proficiency in scripting languages, such as PowerShell or Python. Familiarity with SQL databases and the ability to write efficient queries. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Internal Systems in use: NetSuite Cloud ERP Aha!
