As a Finance team member in Corporate P&A, you'll gain technical and leadership skills working on assignments across the organization. Whether your focus is on project valuation, long-range planning, or strategy team decision support, you'll develop broad-based business knowledge and leadership experience while establishing a strong technical foundation.
In this role, you will:
Develop and recommend financial frameworks to evaluate the potential value and risk of investment decision such as new partnership opportunities, capital projects, supply chain strategies, functional projects, and corporate-wide projects
Play a key leadership role in Clorox Real Estate Strategy by partnering with project teams to develop pro-forma P&L projections
Support annual impairment testing and company valuation process, collaborating with business unit owners, corporate treasury, accounting as well as external auditors
Support the overall strategy and long range planning process and; take initiative and provide support to businesses and functions during strategy development and long range planning
Support valuation and analysis of total company as well as other key initiatives like inorganic growth scorecards, partnership, equity and other investments, while working directly with senior finance leaders
Provide decision support to business partners and leadership by identifying and communicating the key assumptions, opportunities and risks of proposals.
Demonstrate excellent analytical and communication skills. Proven ability to improve processes, champion change, build partnerships and influence decisions.
Identification and implementation of sustainable process improvement and value creation opportunities that eliminate non-value added work, enhance business insights, and improve our financial results.
Maintain a strong internal control environment by documenting key activities and ensuring appropriate DOAs are followed.

What we look for:
5+ years of broad-based F&A experience, preferably in CPG industry
Bachelor level degree in Accounting or Finance; MBA desirable
Strong leadership, planning, organizing, communication, presentation and influencing skills are essential to succeed in this role
Strong analytical skills needed to consolidate large quantities of data, identify trends and drivers and identify issues and risks
Ability to distill complex concepts and problems into simple terms and actionable tasks, particularly to cross-functional partners
Excellent collaboration and ability to develop strong internal relationships at all organizational levels
Self-starter exhibiting personal initiative and creative problem solving
Ability to take personal ownership and ensure timely resolution of issues
Ability to work under time pressure across different time zones and prioritize to meet deadlines
Strong excel modeling capabilities highly desirable and computer literacy across the MS Office suite as well as other types of applications e.g. SAP, Essbase, BW, Power BI

Your starting pay will depend on job-related factors, including relevant skills, knowledge, experience and location. The applicable salary range for every role in the U.S. is based on your work location and is aligned to one of three zones according to the cost of labor in your area.
–Zone A: $86,600 - $161,900
–Zone B: $79,400 - $148,400
–Zone C: $72,100 - $134,900

This job is also eligible for participation in Clorox’s incentive plans, subject to the terms of the applicable plan documents and policies.
