Job Title: Staff Accountant

Job Description

A Construction and Engineering consulting firm based out of the San Francisco Bay Area is looking for a Staff Accountant to join their team to run full-cycle accounting! The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can work independently and support various functions of the team.

Hard Skills

  • 3+ years of experience in accounting (AP, AR, Payroll)

  • Experience supporting the Architectural, Engineering, and Construction industry (preferred)

  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel experience (pivot tables, vlookups)

  • Familiarity with FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulation) or the Procas system (preferred)

  • Experience with industry-specific ERP system (preferred)

  • Associates or Bachelors in Accounting, Finance, or similar field (preferred)

Soft Skills

  • Self-starter

  • Ability to work independently

  • Growth mindset

Work Environment

This is a hybrid position requiring 3 days on-site (for the first two weeks you will have a training period that requires you to be on-site 4 days)
