JOB SUMMARY:

The primary responsibility of the Product Support Manager is to provide leadership and supervision of the location supervisors, oversee daily packaging efforts of chillers, AC units, chiller test stands, heaters, dehumidifiers, and customer packaged containers, and support packaging efforts and rental product support out of the Oakwood facility through parts and service. This position will be required to multi-task and balance the needs of both packaging and rental support with supervisors dedicated to each area, and direct parts and components reorder points to ensure the availability based on the order intake. This individual must facilitate production meetings, and product development, ensure quality control, provide warranty support, train dealer technicians, provide field support, and maintain and establish vendor relationships to ensure timely deliveries and competitive pricing.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A high school diploma is required.

  • A two or four-year degree in a related field is preferred.

  • Must have six years of service and parts experience with equipment and power systems and three years of managerial responsibility.

  • Proven experience and ability with inventory control, parts distribution, financial management, human relations, training, and customer satisfaction is required.

    KEY COMPETENCIES:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, leadership, planning, listening, and problem-solving skills are required.

  • Must have basic computer skills and be able to operate Microsoft applications.

  • A strong business acumen to manage location profit and loss performance is required.

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

    The functions of the position require lifting, carrying, and pulling up to 50 pounds. Standing and sitting up, moving up and down stairs, and climbing into machines with be required. Functions of the position require normal dexterity and repetitive and frequent movements that require hands, wrists, and fingers. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet in office settings and moderate to loud in other situations, with both constant and sudden loud noises possible.
