Aerotek Firetruck Rigger in Ocala, Florida

Job Title: Rigger

Job Description

As a Rigger, you will be responsible for assembling parts of firetrucks by running wire, electronics, plumbing, and mechanical components on the truck. You will use hand tools and power tools to assemble parts accurately and work off of shop orders to correctly install components.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble parts of firetrucks including wiring electronics, running pipes/plumbing, and mechanical components.

  • Use hand tools and power tools for assembly tasks.

  • Work off of shop orders to ensure correct installation of components.

Essential Skills

  • Experience using a tape measure.

  • Experience wiring electronics.

  • Experience running pipes/plumbing.

  • Experience with assembly.

  • Proficiency with hand tools and power tools.

  • Knowledge of electrical, wiring, assembly, plumbing, and mechanical assembly.

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and shop drawings.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with plumbing.

  • Experience with wiring.

  • Knowledge of electrical systems.

  • Mechanical aptitude.

  • Proficiency with hand tools and power tools.

  • Ability to use a tape measure accurately.
