Description

As a Bilingual Payroll Specialist, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll for our diverse workforce. Fluent in both English and Spanish, you'll communicate effectively with employees at all levels, answering questions, resolving issues, and providing exceptional service. From processing payroll data to preparing reports and ensuring compliance with legal requirements, you'll help us maintain smooth payroll operations and support our employees' financial well-being. Key Responsibilities:

  • Process payroll accurately and on time for employees in both English and Spanish-speaking regions.

  • Communicate with employees in both languages to answer questions, provide support, and address payroll-related inquiries.

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations, including proper withholding and reporting.

  • Input and maintain employee payroll data, including new hires, terminations, and changes in status or compensation.

  • Prepare and distribute payroll reports, including earnings statements, tax forms, and year-end summaries.

  • Collaborate with HR and accounting departments to reconcile payroll data and resolve discrepancies.

  • Stay up-to-date on payroll laws and regulations, implementing changes as necessary to maintain compliance.

  • Provide exceptional customer service to employees, addressing concerns and resolving payroll issues promptly and professionally.

    Requirements

  • Fluency in both English and Spanish, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages.

  • 2+ years of experience in payroll processing or related roles, preferably in a bilingual environment.

  • Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite, with strong computer skills.

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

  • Knowledge of payroll laws, regulations, and best practices, including multi-state payroll processing.

  • Customer-focused attitude with a commitment to providing exceptional service to employees.
