JOB REQUIREMENTS: Overview Perform machine tending operations and processes; count, stage and record finished parts. Remove burrs and sharp edges from manufactured parts using hand grinders, dynafiles, Burr Master and Tumbler. Responsibilities Pull finished laser cut parts from the load tables and stack on carts. Operate hand/air tools and electric grinders. Verify part counts to the number of parts nested by the laser programmer. Locate parts that have fallen to the ground through the table grates. Accurately complete the Work Order paperwork. Attach applicable part tags. Move laser cut parts to the correct locations based on the next operation as dictated on the Job Travelers. Empty the slag pans daily. Clean the floor under the load table daily at specified time(s). Complete daily 5S requirements. Clean the lasers weekly. Assist in other duties as requested by trainer, manager or supervisor. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Education and Experience: High school or general education degree (GED). Machine shop experience is a plus. Skills and Abilities: Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Complete standardized written documentation and correspondence. Professionally communicate in one-on-one and small group situations. Ability to perform basic electronic tasks using computer software and Microsoft Office.
