Description:
Position Purpose:
Performs routine assignments in kitchen, tray line and dish room. Performs food preparation as required, operates cash register, and receives, stores, and rotates supplies.
What you will Do:
Performs routine patient tray-line/cafeteria/dining room/catering assignments.
Food Preparation as required; prepares items according to recipe and procedure following food safety guidelines.
Operates cash register.
Receives, stores, and rotates supplies.
Adheres to all safety, infection control and colleague health policies and procedures.
Hours/Schedule:
.5 FTE; 40 hours per bi-weekly pay period; shift start, and end times may vary but primarily 10am-6:30pm; weekend and holiday rotation required.
Minimum Qualifications:
Requires the ability to read, write and understand the English language, and communicate effectively with patients, visitors, staff and physicians while performing their job duties.
Ability to read, basic language, basic math, basic reasoning ability.
Ability to work with others and communicate courteously and clearly.
Knowledge of food safety and hand hygiene.
