Job Description
Our team is currently looking for an experienced Diesel Mechanic with the ability to keep up on routine maintenance for our fleet of trucks and trailers. In this role, the successful candidate will perform truck repair and maintenance work in accordance with fleet and industry standards, run diagnostics and work closely with your team members to meet company goals. Ideal candidate will have experience in the field and be a great team player.
- Perform repairs on trucks and trailers
- Conduct regular preventative maintenance on diesel trucks and trailers, including annual inspections, tire rotation and oil changes
- Maintain responsibility of daily duties and cleanliness in mechanic area.
- Collaborate with all team members to diagnose problems with units and plan repairs according to need.
Perform regular diagnostic tests on trucks
Responsibilities
Be able to complete all tasks assigned safely in a timely manner. We need someone who can take directions and run with them, be dependable and eager to work.
Qualifications
- 5+ years' experience as a Diesel Mechanic preferred
- Possess a valid CDL license, PREFFERED not required.
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
- Excellent reading and writing skills
- Be a self-starter
- Ability to pass our drug screening.
