Liberty of Oklahoma Corporation is now hiring direct care staff / direct support professionals for available "Habilitation Specialist" positions at the Laura Dester Children’s Center located at 7318 E. Pine Street in Tulsa, OK.
This is a challenging position which will require you to work directly with children and adolescents who have developmental disabilities, mental illness and behavioral challenges.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Providing direct services and face-to-face care to children and adolescents
Ensuring clients are very well cared for and safe at all times
Continuously monitoring client activities, behaviors, health and safety
Providing appropriate interventions as necessary, when clients are at risk
Assisting clients with their activities of daily living – and helping them build related skills
Helping clients to build pro-social skills, which will foster their independence and good health
You can choose to work one of the following available shifts options:
6:15 am to 3:00 pm
2:15 pm to 11:00 pm
10:30 pm to 7:00 am
As a full-time employee of Liberty Healthcare in this role, you can expect:
Starting pay of $18.54 per hour (approximately $38,500 annually)
An increase to $19.83 per hour (approximately $41,200 annually) after 6 months of employment
An additional $1.00 per hour / shift differential for any hours worked between 6:00pm and 6:00am
$1,000 sign-on bonus ($250 paid at the successful completion of new hire training + $750 paid after initial 6-months of employment)
30 days of paid time off each year for holidays, vacation, sick leave, and personal days
