Salary Range: $62-$65K

What’s a typical day as an AutoCAD Drafter? You’ll be:
Meeting with project managers, architects, designers, and engineers to discuss design ideas
Developing product designs from scratch
Presenting rough design drafts for client approval
Ensuring product designs meet required safety and structural standards if applicable
Generating Solid and Surface CAD models and drawings using AutoCAD, Inventor, and Revit software
Blending technique and aesthetics to create final designs
Presenting various design perspectives for construction improvements and adaptations
Finalizing AutoCAD models
Utilizing a CAD workstation to prepare difficult and complex drawings
Interpreting and ensuring conformance to applicable standards and codes, as well as company policies and procedures
Understanding and utilizing more advanced software to complete assignments, if necessary
Compiling data and performing dimensional and routine calculations required for the preparation of drawings
Committing to quality and continuous improvement through innovation, creative thinking, and improved results
Establishing and maintaining cooperative and productive relationships with all team members
Creating drawings with input from designers and engineers
Incorporating red line changes in existing drawings, as directed by designers and engineers
Assisting project team in meeting client expectations and schedules
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
Have AutoCAD Drafting experience
Possess advanced knowledge of CAD and AutoCAD software
Have knowledge of Mathematics, Science, Engineering, and Architecture
Have excellent technical design skills
Have good communication skills
Have a keen eye for aesthetics and detail
Have 3D modeling experience
Pay attention to details and use drawing standards
Have a College Degree or Trade/Vocational Degree or Certificate for Drafting and Design
Have construction industry experience
