Description We are seeking a Collections Specialist in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, United States. You will be part of a team that is responsible for the collections process and billing functions, utilizing your knowledge of accounting software systems and customer service skills. The role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity, where your understanding of credit and collections processes will be crucial to the company's financial operations.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize accounting software systems and tools such as Oracle, IBM AS/400, and Microsoft Excel to manage and process customer credit applications.

• Maintain an accurate record of customer credit information using Accurint and Great Plains (GPAC).

• Resolve customer credit inquiries effectively, ensuring a high standard of customer service is maintained.

• Monitor customer credit accounts regularly to identify delinquent payments.

• Work closely with the team to implement collection processes and strategies.

• Utilize your skills as a Collector to recover delinquent payments and maintain the financial health of the company.

• Collaborate with other teams to ensure accurate and efficient billing functions.

• Adhere to all company policies and regulations regarding credit and collections.

• Continually update skills and knowledge in accounting and collections processes to enhance job performance.

Please note that this role does not require the candidate to transition into a permanent or full-time role. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Familiarity with Accurint

• Knowledge of Great Plains (GPAC)

• Experience with IBM AS/400

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Ability to handle Billing Functions

• Understanding of Collection Processes and the role of a Collector

• Knowledge of Credit systems

• Excellent Customer Service skills

• Experience with Oracle
