Humana is actively searching for a dedicated and proficient Lead Product Manager to enhance our Interoperability team. This pivotal role focuses on advancing the standardization of data across our interoperability product suite, developing intricate reporting structures utilizing diverse technologies, evaluating product value based on vendor, geographical data, and line of business insights, and facilitating seamless coordination of cross-functional activities, engaging both internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in product management, proven expertise in data analytics, and in-depth knowledge of interoperability within the healthcare sector. Responsibilities include the following:

  • Collaborate with Interoperability Product Owners to align reporting requirements to product roadmap, portfolio vision, and enterprise strategy.

  • Partner with Vendor Management team to generate vendor-specific reporting to support product adoption and continued expansion.

  • Engage with external vendors to align on data standardization requirements to support simplified integration and delivery.

  • Coordinate with Enterprise IT teams to understand and influence data modeling needed for report generation.

  • Maintain awareness of the current & upcoming regulations to confirm compliance.

  • Support ad-hoc reporting needs for internal stakeholders and install mitigation plans as warranted by commonly requested insights.

  • Work with business owners and leaders to design and document detailed project requirements ensuring alignment to enterprise strategy.

  • Communicates strategy, progress, roadblocks, and value to senior leadership.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Computer Science, or a related field

  • 5+ years of experience in product management, preferably within the healthcare industry

  • Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Power BI

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree

  • Familiar with agile frameworks (i.e. SAFe)

Work-At-Home Requirements

  • WAH requirements: Must have the ability to provide a high-speed DSL or cable modem for a home office. Associates or contractors who live and work from home in the state of California will be provided payment for their internet expense.

  • A minimum standard speed for optimal performance of 25x10 (25mpbs download x 10mpbs upload) is required.

  • Satellite and Wireless Internet service is NOT allowed for this role.

  • A dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information

Interview Format

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.$123,800 - $170,400 per yearThis job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
