ManpowerGroup Accounts Receivable Specialist in Omaha, Nebraska

Our client, a fortune 500 advertising and marketing company, is seeking an AR Specialist to join their Accounting team in Omaha, NE. The AR Specialist will be responsible for daily cash collections for various agencies of our client and will work closely with various individuals and departments to resolve client discrepancies. The ideal candidate will have intricate research, follow-up, coordination and customer service skills.

Job Title: AR Specialist

Location: Omaha, NE (Hybrid)

Pay Rate: $17.50/hr.

Job Type: 3-4 month contract with the potential to convert/FTE

What’s the Job?

  • Contact clients daily regarding past due invoices and address collection issues.

  • Generate and distribute Accounts Receivable reports to stakeholders.

  • Perform client account reconciliations and research payment applications.

  • Serve as the primary back-up for the Cash Application Associate.

  • Communicate effectively and professionally with employees and clients.

What’s Needed?

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent

  • 2-4 years of accounting experience in a corporate environment

  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word

  • Familiarity with Cash Applications and Accounts Payable

  • Able to demonstrate excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently and maintain a strong attention to detail
