Job Summary:

The Commercial Portfolio Managers assist the Commercial Relationship Manager(s) by completing activities to help analyze new opportunities and close the loans in accordance with established lending objectives, policies and procedures. They will maintain and service existing customers as well as ensure credit quality guidelines and policies are met and monitored.

Primary Functions and/or Responsibilities:

· Assist the Commercial Relationship Manager by requesting and obtaining all information needed from the client or prospect to underwrite the credit request

· Assist the Commercial Relationship Manager by appropriately underwriting the credit and to develop the appropriate credit structure in relationship to the credit risk

· Assist the Commercial Relationship Manager in the monitoring of the portfolio which includes but not limited to financial tracking and monitoring maturing notes/annual reviews

· Conduct business in compliance with bank policies and procedures, as well as all federal and state laws and regulations

· Participate with the Commercial Relationship Manager in meetings with primarily existing clients at either the customer’s place of business or at the bank offices

· Participate in discussions and subsequent meetings with commercial lending department, industry specialists, and other interested parties to exchange information and ideas, and to seek to understand the opinions of others

· May assist the Commercial Relationship Manager by participating in and conducting loan closings

· Participate with the Commercial Relationship Manager in meetings with the client or prospect at either the customer’s place of business or at the bank offices

· May present to Loan Committee

· Be actively involved in community activities that will promote the bank and/or assist in business development

Education and/or Experience:

· Commercial Portfolio Manager I Level

BA or BS degree in Business, Accounting or Finance

2+ years of relevant commercial credit experience required

· Commercial Portfolio Manager II Level

BA or BS degree in Business, Accounting or Finance

3+ years of relevant commercial credit experience required

· Commercial Portfolio Manager III Level

BA or BS degree in Business, Accounting or Finance

5+ years of relevant commercial credit experience required

Specific Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:

· Previous credit analysis and/or portfolio management experience required

· Understanding of commercial and commercial real estate lending and banking regulations

· Ability to deal effectively with customers and all levels of the bank organization

· Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)

· Analytical and problem solving skills

· Strong customer services skills

· Excellent communication skills (written and/or oral)

· Strong organizational and planning skills

· Ability to multi-task

Hiring Salary Range

The hiring range below reflects targeted base salary. Actual compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s prior related experience & education and will be finalized at the time of offer. In addition to base salary, most positions are also eligible to participate in our annual bonus program. Select positions may also be eligible to earn incentives and/or commissions.

Commercial Portfolio Manager I Level: $56,000 - $70,000

Commercial Portfolio Manager II Level: $64,000 - $80,000

Commercial Portfolio Manager III Level: $73,000 - $90,000
