Aerotek Material Handler in OMAHA, Nebraska

Job Title: Material Handler

Job Description

Join our team as a Material Handler and operate sit-down forklifts in one of the largest paper recycling plants. Your role will involve managing materials primarily using a forklift, which will be your main responsibility for 90% of the shift. The remaining 10% of your duties will include cleaning, emptying boxes, and handling compactor operations. This full-time position requires working from 4 AM to 12:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 90 Day(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in OMAHA, Nebraska.

Work Environment

The work environment is a non-climate controlled, large recycling plant with continuous exposure to elements such as cold in the winter and heat in the summer. The area is generally dirty with paper and cardboard debris. Safety attire including jeans and steel-toed shoes are mandatory at all times. Although the environment is challenging, our forklifts are equipped with heaters and will soon have air conditioning to provide some comfort.
