Amergis RN Inpt Rehab - Nights - $2405/weekly! in Omaha, Nebraska

"Department: Inpatient Rehab

Certifications: BLS required for all.

  • Beds: 35

  • Ratios: Days: 1:5 / Nights: 1:6

  • Required certifications: BLS, de-escalation training

  • Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Adults and geriatrics, Stroke, SCI, Amputee, BI, critical illness, neurological disease-MS, Parkinsons, etc.

    • Are RNs required to titrate drips?: No
  • Common titratable &/or set rate drips: Antibiotics, anticoagulation, antiplatelets

  • Is there a Charge Nurse on each shift?: Charge Nurse

  • Are there nurse aids/patient care techs on this unit? Ratios? Duties?: Yes- 1:10-15

  • Shifts & Scheduling (Do you allow self-scheduling? Block scheduling?): 0630-1900, 1830-0700 / cyclic self-scheduling

  • Weekend Requirement: At minimum every 3rd weekend

  • Holiday Requirement: At minimum 2 holidays

  • Is there Call or a Standby requirement?: No

  • Floating Requirements: Will float to MedSurg

  • How many shifts of unit/department specific orientation?: Classroom orientation and 2- 12 hour shifts on the unit

  • Additional Notes: Attribute that will make a nurse successful on this unit include strong communication skills, highly organized, teamwork, innovative problem solving skills, compassion, inclusion, integrity, excellence, collaboration

    Radius Rule: 50 miles AND Candidates may not be full time, part time or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity.

    RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13 week contract). Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submissions.
