Job Title: Overhead Crane Operator (Weekly Pay/ Advancement Opportunity)
Job Description
As a Warehouse Associate, your primary responsibilities will include operating an overhead crane to control the lifting, moving, and positioning of loads. You will ensure that the load is safely attached and within the lifting limits and maintain the cleanliness and functionality of the crane. In addition, you will be responsible for tracking inventory in your assigned area. The role also involves loading structural steel beams onto the beds of semi-trucks based on order sheets.
Hard Skills
Experience operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts or electric pallet jacks
Prior experience operating an overhead crane is preferred but not a must!
Experience with other heavy equipment is preferred but not a must!
Work Environment
Our warehouse is a dynamic, bustling environment. While it is not temperature controlled, it is kept clean and organized despite being a metal distribution center. The temperature indoors will reflect the outdoor conditions due to trucks driving in and out throughout the day. You will be working on either the 1st shift (7:00AM - 3:30PM) or 2nd shift (4:00PM - 11:30PM), within a small team of 3-6 people. Dress code for the position includes steel-toed boots, jeans, and a work shirt.
