Ricoh Americas Corporation Strategic Account Executive - Public Sector in ON, Canada

The Strategic Account Executive understands the entire Ricoh portfolio of services and can articulate how they integrate to support modernization efforts of the client. This sales professional must build on the existing Ricoh relationships and expand the suite of services deployed in the Ontario Government. The strategic direction, growth, and outcomes will be the ultimate responsibility of the Strategic Account Executive.

Responsibilities

  • Build strong relationships with key executive stakeholders within the Ontario Government

  • Use consultative selling techniques with a focus on client value and return on investment

  • New business prospecting and development, including scheduling and conducting introductions, in both virtual and face to face client settings

  • Research and understand department and agency alignment, initiatives, policy, and client personas

  • Collaborate with peers, including supporting consultants and specialist to develop transformative solutions that fit in the client’s complex environment

  • Deliver strategic business development plans that incorporate input from stakeholders including management, consultants, operations, legal, support, etc.

  • Manage complex contract negotiations and serve as a liaison to the legal group and executive management team

  • Review complex Public Sector Request for Proposals (RFP) and lead the Ricoh bid response

  • Use Salesforce to manage account activity, pipeline progression and forecasting

Requirements

Education:

  • Post-secondary education, preferably in business

Experience:

  • Experience in B2B environment, IT or a consultative selling environment; preferably in public sector

  • Established contacts and relationships in the Government of Ontario a plus

Other:

  • Requires a valid driver's license and reliable transportation required (and auto insurance coverage per Ricoh's policy)
