Philips Maintenance Mechanic in Ontario, California
Obtain a dynamic and rewarding career opportunity as a first-shift Maintenance Mechanic responsible for preventative maintenance and troubleshooting of facility equipment related to the production of our oral healthcare products!
Your Role:
Works on the regular machinery (mechanical or electrical/electronic work) and carries out preventive and emergency maintenance to ensure the timely manufacturing of our oral healthcare products.
Improves machine availability and reduce breakdown.
Advises in maintenance approach and update maintenance plan to ensure quality and customer satisfaction.
Works closely with Engineers to make adjustments, upgrades, and improvements on automated equipment that will prevent problems from recurring.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience.
High School Diploma/GED and a technical certificate in a technical field (required)
You have 4+ years’ experience troubleshooting and maintaining automated equipment.
Your skills include - Strong math and analytic skills to understand automated systems and isolate problems, proficiency with various instruments and hand tools, such as electrical multimeters, as well as knowledge of materials and fabrication utilizing mills, lathe, drill press, welding, soldering, and cutting equipment
You have a passion for problem-solving

Philips Transparency Details
The hourly pay range for this position is $17.29 – $19.06. At Philips, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered.
