Attention Nursing Students starting or in their P2 or PN2 semester. Orchard Brooke Assisted Living is offering an opportunity to jump start your med pass skills and get paid for it after our on-line program.

Nursing Students Become a Medical Technician while in school. Free training provided and gain experience while getting paid after receiving your Medical tech certification.

Must be currently enrolled in nursing school, in good standing and in PN2 or P2 semester. STARTING RATE: $17.65/hr.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Nursing Students have an opportunity to receive training on-line to become a certified medication technician and pass meds in our Assisted Living Facility. A Medical Technician is a medical professional who plays a vital part in the health care industry.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Administer medication under the supervision of a delegating nurse and NYSDOH standardsAbility to maintain accurate records of treatments and medicationsAssist with obtaining resident medical historiesTake resident's vital signsAdministers the correct medications and dosages to residents on a daily basis

REQUIREMENTS:

Must be enrolled in an accredited nursing school in good standing.
