Eaton’s IS AER MSD division is currently seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer - Controls.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $80250.03 - $117700.04 a year.

What you’ll do:
The Senior Manufacturing Engineer, Controls - Provides manufacturing engineering support to the production floor for manufacturing processes, tests, hardware, and optimizing control systems.
Primary Responsibilities include the following:
Create and modify work instructions and ERP routing info.. Lead root cause problem solving on manufacturing/test issues including ESD controls. Lead Non conformance and Corrective action activities. Ensure Eaton safety policies/standards are practiced in production through proper control systems. Lead continuous improvement activities through factory cost out, Rapid Improvement Events and other lean six sigma tools. Support Engineering change orders, design reviews and update processes. Lead PFMEA activities and drive risk reduction. Identify CAPEX items including large scale, multi dept/cell items, complete process through MSOP approval and implementation.
Design, develop, and implement control systems and automation solutions for industrial processes
Develop and maintain PLC and HMI programs for process control
Troubleshoot and debug existing control systems
Design and develop SCADA systems for data acquisition and monitoring
Develop and maintain electrical schematics and diagrams
Develop and maintain documentation for control systems
Perform system commissioning and start-up
Develop and maintain preventive maintenance programs for control systems
Perform system upgrades and modifications
Provide technical support and training for control systems
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
A minimum of a Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Technology, from an accredited institution.
A minimum of 4 years of Engineering experience, within a manufacturing environment.
A minimum of 2 years of experience in Controls Engineering, within a manufacturing environment.
Relocation is not provided, all candidates must currently reside within 50 miles of Eaton's Orchard Park, NY Facility.
All candidates must be legally authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship, now and in the future.
This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). PLC programming experience
HMI design and development
