Job Title: Audio Visual Technician
Job Description
A leading provider of low voltage services in southern Wisconsin, specializing in the design and implementation of fire alarm, security, nurse call, and audio-video systems, is seeking an experienced Audio Visual Technician. This role is essential in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems operating at low voltage.
Responsibilities
Install electrical wiring and equipment according to building plans.
Maintain accurate records of all work performed, including maintenance, repairs, and installations.
Troubleshoot malfunctions and repair, replace parts, or upgrade systems as necessary.
Test systems to verify safety and efficiency by measuring voltage, resistance, and amperage levels.
Program alarm systems using a programmer or keypad.
Essential Skills
1-3 years of experience in electrical knowledge and understanding of low-voltage systems.
Ability to install, maintain, and troubleshoot low voltage systems.
Proficiency in programming alarm systems.
Valid driver's license.
High School Diploma or Equivalent.
Clean driving record and ability to obey all applicable traffic laws.
Capability to perform physical labor, including carrying and moving equipment and tools up to 50 lbs.
Ability to work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions such as climbing ladders, working within ducts, crawl spaces, and above ceilings.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Mechanical aptitude.
Experience with audiovisual systems.
Strong service orientation.
