Description
We are on the hunt for a meticulous Accountant to be part of our team. Operating from the Fitchburg area, you will be integral to our accounting operations, assisting with a multitude of accounting tasks and supporting the broader team. As an Accountant, your role will encompass processing invoices, maintaining financial records, and fostering collaboration across teams to ensure financial policy compliance. Responsibilities
• Managing accounts payable and receivable activities
• Assisting with the reconciliation of bank statements and month-end closing procedures
• Efficiently handling the processing of invoices and expense reports
• Keeping financial records accurate and well-organized
• Collaborating with different teams to ensure adherence to financial policies and procedures
• Tackling routine correspondence with clients and managing telephone communications
• Utilizing accounting software tools such as Quickbooks
Requirements
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting role is required
• Proficiency in using Quickbooks is essential
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Excellent analytical skills with a focus on detail
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team
• Strong time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High level of integrity and dependability
• Ability to handle confidential information in a detail oriented manner
