NBC Universal Hotel Ticketing Services Associate (Vacation Planner) in Orlando, Florida
JOB SUMMARY:
Destination Universal Vacation Planners are responsible for providing exemplary service by working independently in a high paced, guest facing, sales environment at Universal’s On-Site and Partner Hotels. Responsible for utilizing prescribed sales techniques to sell all Universal Orlando products which include: Annual Passes, Admission Tickets, Express Pass, Dining Plans, Special Event products and Lanyards. Vacation Planners must also be familiar with 3rd party area attractions and assist guests with sales for those products at their work location. In addition, this position will require familiarity with multiple ticketing systems and guest service systems to assist guests with any ticket or Vacation Package concerns they have.
This position offers weekly commission opportunity to increase your earning potential
Pay rate: $17.75 per hour
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Meet monthly sales goals including but not limited to: Total Ticket Revenue, Multi-Day and Park to Park share, Upgrade Revenue and Ancillary Product Sales.
Process transactions within multiple systems including: Galaxy Ticketing, Universal Desktop, Open Order, Open Table, Zomato and 3rd Party Ticketing System.
Understand and actively participate in technological communications for business critical information and relevant park and attraction information. (i.e., message boards, forum boards, etc.)
Understands and actively participates in technological communications for business critical information and relevant park and attraction information.
Understands and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities
Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION:
High school degree or GED is required.
Technical school is preferred.
Associate’s degree (AA) is preferred.
Other: Working knowledge of windows office and operating system required.
EXPERIENCE:
Experience with computer ticketing system preferred.
One to three years in a sales position with face-to-face customer contact preferred.
Six months to one year prior cash handling experience required.
Second language is a plus, but not required.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Positions as a Hotel Ticketing Services Associate (Vacation Planner) require:
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Handling cash and credit card in sales transactions
Using different forms of technology including computers and tablets
Maintaining a clean work environment with use of cleaning chemical
