Lockheed Martin Military Operations Research Systems Sr. Staff Analyst (ORSA) / Secret in Orlando, Florida

The selected candidate will use systematic, science-based techniques, problem-solving methods, simulation, and critical thinking to inform and improve decision-making processes. This position will require collaboration with team members, program managers, and engineers in other disciplines. As part of the Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control Operations Analysis team, this candidate will lead fixed wing weapons and sensor analysis to support requirements definitions, concept of operations (CONOPS) evaluation, and operational effectiveness studies to help shape and guide future capabilities of the warfighter. These impactful studies quantify the effects of payloads, weapons and tactics on survivability and mission effectiveness.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Leading Operations Analysis (OA) for Air Dominance fixed wing weapons and sensors

• Developing Design of Experiments (DOE) and quantifying Measures-of-Effectiveness (MOEs)

• Formulating analysis and study plans based on critical questions/problem statements

• Applying engineering-based techniques, problem-solving methods, and critical thinking

• Simulation, Modeling and Analysis (MS&A) of military systems and scenarios in digital environments

• Analyzing simulation results using data metrics to draw meaningful conclusions

• Executing trade studies and performing statistical analysis

• Presenting analysis with effective communication and interpersonal skills

• Developing research efforts and sharing of analytical techniques with research methodologies.

• Applying resolution analysis methods to evaluate current and future programs

Basic Qualifications:

• Active DoD secret clearance with an investigation or Continuous Vetting (CV) date within 5 years

• Experience leading a team or statistical analysis to achieve meaningful results

• Scripting and data processing experience (AFSIM, MATLAB, Python, ARISE, Splinter, or similar)

• Bachelor's degree or above in a STEM discipline from an accredited college/university

• Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a top-secret clearance upon employment. This position also requires an enhanced security review in accordance with government contract requirements and it is a condition of employment that individuals hired into positions requiring program clearance obtain and maintain such clearance within sufficient time to allow Lockheed Martin to meet its business needs.

Desired Skills:

• Current DoD Top Secret clearance with an investigation or Continuous Vetting (CV) date within 5 years

• Experience with Lockheed Martin portfolios of fixed wing weapons and sensors

• Experience with Lockheed Martin Integrated-Flight-Simulation (IFS)

• Experience with air-to-air radar electronic warfare, infrared, communication, and weapons systems

• Understanding of MFC strategy and new business programs.

• Advanced degree in a STEM discipline from an accredited college/university

• Experience developing Design of Experiments (DOE)

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
