The Opportunity:

CACI is seeking an operations lead to support the Optical and Photonic Systems division. This role can be based in one of several CACI locations in Northern Virginia, Colorado, Florham Park, NJ, or Orlando, FL.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the division leader with special projects and briefings as needed. Stand in for the division lead as needed.

  • Manage day-to-day operations and prioritization of group’s initiatives to ensure seamless execution of key projects.

  • Assist with the development of standards for operations across the division, this includes but not limited new product introduction, transition to production and Earned Value Management System for firm fixed price development and production contracts.

  • Work with CAS and Non-CAS (Commercial) business models to develop and deploy products around the globe.

  • Lead process improvement efforts to streamline and create efficiencies within the division business. This ranges from production strategies to facility optimization.

  • Ensure the organization meets or exceeds company targets for revenue, EBIT margin and cash collections.

  • Build and maintain relationships with key senior customers and/or strategic partners.

  • Provide regular updates and insights to division leader on market trends and competition to enable informed decision-making

  • The successful candidate will have a strong personal brand and possess deep visibility in both industry and customer spaces and possess a track record of success leading multiple teams.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • University Degree (BA/BS) and minimum 15 years related work experience

  • Proven track record as a team leader with an understanding of management practices

  • Product Development lifecycle skills: from IRAD to full rate production (FRP) and sustainment.

  • Previous P&L responsibility

  • Strong Earned Value Management and Program Management skills- cost, schedule and quality.

  • Demonstrated robust Risk, Opportunity and mitigation skills as Program Manager or Director.

  • Process Improvement skills – Lean, Six Sigma or other.

  • Demonstrated experience in program policy and process

  • Demonstrated project and budget management skills in manufacturing and development environments.

  • Strong understanding of fundamental business principles – Business Acumen.

  • Analytical problem- solving skills with an impeccable attention to detail; demonstrated strong use of data.

  • Demonstrated capture lead experience and overall Defense Acquisition process.

  • Ability to set overall strategy and drive process improvement - Lean, Six Sigma and or others.

  • Develop and deploy repeatable and reproducible processes.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to collaborate and build a consensus in a high-pressure environment

  • Proficiency in developing and maintaining SharePoint sites

  • Multi-team management experience

  • Active/Current TS-SCI clearance or clear path and ability to obtain.

Desired:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and PowerPoint

  • Familiarity with CACI Products, Policies and Procedures.

Pay Range : There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. Since this position can be worked in more than one location, the range shown is the national average for the position.

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$104,100-$229,000
