About You

We’re seeking a results-driven, innovative, and self-motivated individual to join our talented team as a Production and Maintenance Supervisor. Based at our Orlando, Florida location, you will oversee the site's production, maintenance and shipping operations, ensuring that safety, quality, delivery and efficiency standards are met. You will also support the maintenance team by performing scheduled maintenance, repairs, and equipment assembly for both the facility and production equipment.

You will:

  • Ensure extraordinary equipment standards and performance by troubleshooting and performing complex maintenance and repair of site facilities and equipment. In some cases, re-engineer or modify equipment. Interpret blueprints, layouts, wiring diagrams, drawings and specifications.

  • Develop and lead a responsive, knowledgeable, high-performing production team by establishing individual goals for team members in alignment with overall organization goals and performs periodic performance reviews to determine progress.

  • Supervise the production team to high standards of product care and procedural accuracy by ensuring safe handling procedures by all, by maintaining workplace protocols pertaining to ISO13485:2016, ISO 9001:2015, IPC-A-610 standards and by ensuring electrostatic sensitivity procedures are rigorously followed.

  • Ensure safe operation of all related machinery and equipment by adherence to all environmental health and safety standards including protective equipment and safe practices. Maintaining a safe, healthy, clean, ergonomically sensitive productive workplace by assisting in developing quality assurance policies and procedures (per ISO).

  • Ensure that orders are processed diligently, and with a sense of urgency by reviewing job requirements and standard times, directing the work activities of the team and allocating team resources in order to meet daily, weekly, and monthly production standards. Controlling downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques.

  • Maintain up-to-date, accurate paperwork & equipment inventory by updating maintenance and production logs as required by the QMS. Preparing maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends. Creating purchase requisitions and ensure sufficient inventory is on-hand for timely service.

  • Process incoming and outgoing shipments diligently, and with a sense of urgency by reviewing job requirements and standard times, then executing process steps from first article production through to parts read for final QC.

  • Hold the Production Team to high quality standards by ensuring direct reports perform tasks as outlined in Work Instructions, Quality Specifications, and Standard Operating Practices.

Requirements

You should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field equivalent in experience

  • 3+ years of production experience in the manufacturing industry, preferrably in an electro-mechanical setting

  • 3+ years of maintenance experience

  • 3+ years of experience in supervisory or leadership role preferred

  • Excellent knowledge and experience working with ERPs; JD Edwards Enterprise-1 preferred

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Windows-based software essential.

  • Strong organizational skills, including planning and prioritizing business activities

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions under pressure

  • 3+ years of experience in ISO 9000 quality programs preferred

Salary Range: $65,000 - $80,000 per year.

Our company takes the compensation of its employees very seriously and considers several factors when determining the total compensation package including but not limited to location, market range, skills, knowledge, experience, and abilities. The base salary range represents the low and high end of our company's salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range.
