Relief Surgeon Opportunity in East Orlando, Florida!
BluePearl East Orlando is seeking a skilled Relief Surgeon to join our exceptional team. If you are a Board-Certified Surgeon looking for the flexibility that relief provides, we invite you to become a part of our dedicated group of professionals!
State-of-the-Art Facility: Our East Orlando facility is an 8,500-square-foot hospital, offering both Internal Medicine and Surgery services to our referring vet community. The hospital is equipped with in-house Idexx lab equipment, EPOCH, a spacious treatment area, two ORs, digital radiography, and endoscopy (GI, rhinoscopy, bronchoscopy, cystoscopy).
Flexibility and Work-Life Balance: Operating hours are Monday through Thursday, 7 am – 6 pm, with closures on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Overnight supportive care for our hospitalized patients is provided by an after-hours emergency clinic. Our emergency patients are referred by their primary care veterinarians since we do not provide primary ER care. After-hours emergencies are seen by the emergency veterinary hospitals and then referred to our hospital for continued care when needed.
Collaborative Environment: The East Orlando hospital neighbors with nearby BluePearl Maitland, conveniently located just 30 minutes away, and has the support of their team of specialists. Services encompass emergency critical care, internal medicine, surgery, neurology, radiology with an on-site radiologist, medical and radiation oncology, dentistry, physical rehabilitation, and acupuncture. Maitland also supports rotating interns and residents in internal medicine, surgery, and neurology. The hospital also features a 64-slice helical CT, 1.5 Tesla MRI, ultrasound, and digital radiography. We offer advanced treatments such as radioiodine therapy, linear accelerator, endoscopy (GI, rhinoscopy, bronchoscopy, cystoscopy), laparoscopy, and physical therapy.
