Actalent Remote Pharmacy Technician in Orlando, Florida

Hiring 100% Remote Pharmacy Technicians

This role is fully computer-based. Responsibilities include:

  • Process prescription exceptions including resolving claim rejects and member and physician outreach

  • Enter member demographics and prescription information into the data processing system

  • Research and resolve rejected insurance billing issues and/or escalated member issues

  • Escalate questions regarding prescriptions to pharmacist for interpretation or provide direction on processing

  • Assist with inbound and/or outbound patient or physician calls

Must Have:

  • 2+ years of Pharmacy Technician experience

  • Prior Authorization experience

  • Customer Service

  • Computer skills

  • Ability to work remote and independently

  • 100% remote. Must work in a closed-door setting with limited distractions and be HIPAA compliant. Strong Wi-Fi and ability to work remotely are required.

Work Environment

This is a remote position requiring a professional home office setup with strong WiFi and a private workspace with a closed door. Equipment, including a computer, monitor, and headset, will be provided. The shift is 8 hours and falls between Monday-Friday from 8 am-8 pm in the time zone of residence, with rotating weekends and some holidays. Training will be from 10 am-6:30 pm EST. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00
