Responsibilities:
- Managing staff: Training and retaining employees, setting job expectations, providing feedback, and conducting performance reviews
- Overseeing operations:Ensuring daily operations run efficiently and smoothly, and adhering to company standards
- Ensuring customer satisfaction:Handling customer issues, resolving complaints, and building customer relationships
- Supporting marketing:Assisting with marketing activities to create a positive dining experience
- Maintaining inventory:Monitoring inventory levels and ordering when needed
- Supporting other staff: Assist staff when needed
Assistant managers should have strong leadership skills and be able to handle stressful situations. They should also be able to balance the needs of employees with the needs of the business.
Ultimately, you will help minimize operating costs, boost our employee retention and deliver a positive dining experience for our guests, coordinate communication between the front of the house and back of the house staff, keep detailed records of daily, weekly and monthly activities and recommend improvements.
