Maintains knowledge of chemicals as contained in the MSDS manual. Displays proper use of chemicals, equipment and cleaning supplies. Demonstrates cost conscious behaviors.
Keeps equipment and all surrounding work area organized, clean and tidy; shows attention to detail; keeps area free of clutter; ensures timely trash removal.
Adheres to all sanitation and safety standards; performs cleaning and sanitizing duties according to established NS guidelines; monitors and records equipment temperatures as needed

Job Summary:
Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all. The sanitation\utility specialist is responsible for the cleaning and maintenance of the all front of the house and back of the house areas, which include but are not limited to the servery, coolers, freezers, stockrooms, work areas, and trash removal. Responsible for general equipment and dish machine equipment cleanliness and the cleanliness of floors, floor drains, walls, baseboards, storage racks, trash cans, etc. Responsible for washing and sanitizing dishes, trays, pots, pans, utensils, etc and delivering the clean, dry items to the appropriate locations. Safely operates, cleans and sanitizes dish machine, trash disposal and other assigned equipment. Monitors and records temperatures of the dish machine and 3-compartment sink.
