*A day in the life of a Service Coordinator *

Life as a Service Coordinator is all about teamwork and partnership as you support the field team. Your day might begin with organizing service requests and checking for any updates or changes. Then, you would prepare and distribute Limited Warranty Manuals to those working in the field. Throughout the day, you’ll respond to all homeowners’ email warranty requests, and provide administrative and scheduling support to ensure that documentation, tracking and distribution needs are met - all while working closely with subcontractors to determine what service repairs need to be done. At the same time, you would proactively contact homeowners to arrange appointments and confirm them each week as assigned by their manager, keeping track of open/completed warranty requests, processing work orders/paperwork, approving invoices/back-charges and making sure everyone is following all warranty manuals accordingly. In addition, you’ll also update homeowner records & files to document any architectural modifications and check up on any unresolved issues before finalizing paperwork.

The ideal Service Coordinator candidate is organized, possesses a positive attitude, is detail-oriented and can remain cool under pressure. Being able to communicate clearly and build strong relationships with homebuyers, trade partners and internal groups is imperative to the success of this role.  

*Must Haves: *

  • Some construction knowledge

  • Excited to collaborate in a team environment
