Schedule: Full Time, 40 hours per week
Shift : Primarily Mon-Fri, approximately 8am to 5pm. Rotating weekends.
Location: This position will be doing patient home care visits primarily in the New Smyrna Beach, Edgewater, Port Orange and surrounding areas.
The role you’ll contribute:
Provides vocational nursing services under the supervision of an RN, to patients in their homes.
The value you’ll bring to the team:
Performs nursing skills safely and competently according to the plan of care
Provides accurate and complete documentation the same day of the visit.
Schedules visits to facilitate patient needs and completes assigned schedule in a timely manner.
Plans patient care in consultation with Registered nurse.
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
Minimum qualifications :
Licensed Practical Nurse licensed in the state of Florida
Basic Life Support certification
Valid Florida driver’s license, safe driving record and reliable transportation
Minimum 1 year of nursing experience as a LPN
Preferred qualifications:
LPN IV Certification as required for Florida Board of Nursing (Certification of completion for 30-hour course)
Home care experience
