Mitchell County Regional Health Center is in Osage, Iowa located in Mitchell County, which has a population of 10,600 people. MCRHC is a 25-bed critical access hospital, including a Level 4 Trauma Center Emergency Room seeing 3,200 visits annually. The Surgical Services department performs over 1,300 procedures annually, including specialties General Surgery, Orthopedics, ENT, Urology, Ophthalmology, Pain management, and Podiatry.

About The Job:
Food preparation and production according to department requirements for quality, quantity, safety, and nutrition, while meeting established meal schedules. Maintains sanitary environment including dishwashing. Responsible for providing assistance tray preparation and service, dishwashing. Maintains sanitary environment. Help patients heal by contributing to their nutrition and health in the preparation of meals.
Position Shift Details:
Monday-Friday 10:45-7:15 and 1 weekend a month (On the weekend you work, you get 2 days of before the weekend and 1 day off after the weekend worked)
Starting wage $15.84 increases with experience
What We Need From You:
Education:
High School diploma or equivalent certificate preferred.
Experience:
Previous experience in food service is preferred.
Special Skills & Aptitudes:
Must be able to read, write and speak effectively to identified customers. Ability to follow oral and written instructions. Must know recipe preparation techniques, including measuring and cooking processes. Knowledge of cooking terminology is required.
