Mitchell County Regional Health Center is in Osage, Iowa located in Mitchell County, which has a population of 10,600 people. MCRHC is a 25-bed critical access hospital, including a Level 4 Trauma Center Emergency Room seeing 3,200 visits annually. The Surgical Services department performs over 1,300 procedures annually, including specialties General Surgery, Orthopedics, ENT, Urology, Ophthalmology, Pain management, and Podiatry.

Shift: Days: As needed-Monday-Friday; typical work day 7:30am-4:00pm or 8:30am-5:00pm, willing to be flexible
JOB SUMMARY Provides physical therapy evaluations and treatments to patients in accordance with physician approved treatment plans. Assures quality physical therapy care and regulatory guideline compliance leading to positive patient outcomes.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONSA. Education/Experience1. Graduate of a university approved by the American Physical Therapy Association and hold at minimum a Masters in Physical Therapy.2. Must possess/maintain license in the state of Iowa or be eligible for licensure.3. Prefer at least 2 years of physical therapy practice experience.4. Experience in acute care setting preferred.5. Must have basic computer skills.
ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL/COGNITIVE REQUIREMENTSA. Must be able to communicate verbally and non-verbally with customers.B. Must be able to occasionally lift, pull and push over 60 pounds from various positions.C.
