The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the eTool Functional System Administrator (FSA), ensuring proper implementation, use, and maintenance of MXG eTool systems. Update, troubleshoot, and repair systems as necessary. Manage eTool administration portion of the Enhanced Technical Information Management System (ETIMS). Responsibilities Manages the eTools Program Manages the TODO program Manages Technical Order Distribution Accounts (TODAs) Manages Locally Developed Publications Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Clerical and Administrative Support Positions. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicants must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience at the next lower grade GS-06, or equivalent in other pay systems. Examples of specialized experience includes knowledge of the Air Force Technical Order System and applicable instructions on handling classified data to maintains all technical publication files, requisition and distribute publications, make changes, insert revisions and supplements, and mark cancelled, superseded and/or rescinded date on TOs. FEDERAL TIME-IN-GRADE (TIG) REQUIREMENT FOR GENERAL SCHEDULE (GS) POSITIONS: Merit promotion applicants must meet applicable time-inĀ­-grade requirements to be considered eligible. One year at the GS-06 level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS-07 level. TIG applies if you are in a current GS position or held a GS position within the previous 52 weeks. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas: 1. Knowledge of Technical Order documentation including procurements, filing and distribution procedures and sufficient subject matter knowledge of the material content to classify, retrieve, distribute, conduct searches, and dispose of materials. 2. Knowledge of e-Tools fundamentals including Microsoft Windows SDC and Windows administration functions, certificate/Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) installation, Air Force Center for Electronic Distribution of System (AFCEDS) functions. 3. Knowledge of the ETIMS functionality. Subscription, receipt, and deletion process. Sub-account and view-only user account management. 4. Knowledge of routine office functions to screen telephone calls and visitors and prepare and review correspondence. 5. Knowledge of correct grammar, spelling, punctuation, capitalization, and format to accurately prepare and edit written correspondences and reports. 6. Ability to communicate effectively with others, both orally and in writing. Ability to understand and perform instructional/ training concepts and applications to users. PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
