With relation to current production schedule, coordinates crew, assigning duties, setting equipment parameters and performing various product quality inspections. Lead will be responsible for assisting in the training of all employees, Maintain effective communication with production supervisor, mixer, operator, and QC personnel. Responsible for using Food Safety Procedures to ensure quality product.

Support the review, understanding and compliance of all programs, policies and procedures contained in the Food Safety and Quality Management System.

1.50% Coordinate crew assignments, ensuring position rotation throughout shift. Keep check on all code dates and check weights. Enforce safety and sanitation regulations. Direct and coordinate the activities of employees engaged in the production or processing of finish goods, such as mixers, operators, lid setters, packers, production material handler and stackers. Read and analyze charts, work orders, production schedules, and other records and reports to determine production requirements and to evaluate current production estimates and outputs.

  1. 25% Measure internal temperatures on all products, complete weekly sanitation documents. Ensure crew follows all GMPs. Monitor rework to make sure that it is done according to procedures to minimize the loss of product. Monitor all documentation associated with re-work and reprocessing. Inspect materials, products, or equipment to detect defects or malfunctions. Demonstrate equipment operations and work and safety procedures to new employees, or assign employees to experienced workers for training. Observe work and monitor gauges, dials, and other indicators to ensure that operators conform to production or processing standards.
