JOB REQUIREMENTS: Overview The WMS Lead is responsible for taking the leadership role in coordination of distribution activities. This role uses the computerized Warehouse Management System (WMS) to determine what product is available for shipment to customers, investigate outages and escalate shortages which cannot be resolved within the warehouse. It is a fast-paced job that requires multi-tasking, PC skills, and a high level of comfort dealing with varying personality types. Responsibilities * Check all inbound/outbound loads for damage, debris, etc., report issues to appropriate team (fleet, etc.). * Maintain drop yard and security log, tracking all trailers that come onto PepsiCo property. * Check all trailers and seals for trailers entering and leaving the property. * Communicate trailer needs to hostler and transportation coordinator. * Review and analyze the forklift work queue, adjust to meet business needs as necessary. * Investigate and resolve inventory shortages (failures), resolve, or refer to appropriate team as necessary. * Monitor dock doors to ensure maximum utilization of all bays. * Perform all other duties as assigned by coach, manager, or as business needs dictate.
