概要 (High-level description; including team/individual management responsibility)
The Strategic Program Management (SPM) office acts as the chief of staff to the Japan GM, to manage and drive priority cross-company initiatives, and ensure alignment and transparency across key stakeholders including our global counterparts
We are looking to hire a seasoned project manager who can think top-down from a management perspective to design project approaches and define strategies, while also dynamically lead and influence a large number of internal stakeholders to reach alignment and decision making. A deep understanding and appreciation of combining strategic planning and tactical implementation is a key success factor.
This role will provide an opportunity to work directly with the Japan GM, and a majority of the Japan Leadership Team (JLT) across multiple topics. On top, there will be opportunities to work with global stakeholders in HQ, depending on the project opportunity.
This role will be reporting to the Strategic Program Management Lead of Japan and is an individual contributor role (no team management).

Mobilize the organization to drive our Japan GM's agenda, by taking a management perspective and influencing multiple stakeholders
Provide strong project management to ensure alignment on project objectives and deliverable timings, and escalate risks in a timely and synthesized manner to allow proper decision making by the leadership team
Develop synthesized communication to global counterparts to provide clear visibility on Japan strategy / initiatives and its progress

Articulate on the goals of individual projects, and design project plans for complex projects
Influence a variety of stakeholders to support and drive the project
Ensure visibility and accountability of project execution, and drive progress partnering with various stakeholders
Regularly synthesize progress and flag key issues to management team to drive alignment

Fluent English and Japanese (Verbal, Writing) required
Upper degree level or MBA
Experience in Management consulting a plus
Basic understanding of Pharmaceutical business a plus (not required)

Track record of managing complex cross functional projects and teams
Deep understanding and experience on change management
Ability to navigate through a matrix organization, sometimes influencing without authority
