Job Description
Aerotek is seeking General Production Workers for our medical manufacturing client in Ottawa!
In this role, you will work on a production line manufacturing blood analyzer cartridges for critical care and hospital use.
The process involves minute-level printing onto metal strips and requires intense focus to ensure the droplets are in the correct shape.
Quality control is paramount; you must ensure that the products meet high standards, as they are crucial for critical care units and intensive care units.
You will also be responsible for heavy documentation, noting every change or abnormality digitally and efficiently after the training period.
Skills & Requirements
Diploma (high school or college) or an interest or experience in medical, science, or engineering fields.
1+ years of experience in manufacturing or production with compliance standards
Experience working in an automated environment with SOPs
Attention to detail
Ability to focus while moving quickly on a production line.
Work Environment
Temperature-controlled environment, lab coats are provided.
The job involves standing, although chairs are available for short breaks.
The production line moves quickly, so you need to be able to assess and catch errors immediately.
The entire production floor is automated, so comfort with computerized production machines is necessary.
12h shifts.
Pay: Between $19.7-$22.7
