Job Description:
The purpose of the Patient Access Specialist (PAS) is to assess patients needs, resolve issues and triage information appropriately. This includes introducing patients to Shared Solutions services, conducting their benefits investigation and coordinating their prescription with their Specialty Pharmacy. The PAS will work to remove patient access barriers and seeking out appropriate resources as needed. Ultimately, give the best customer service you can give to each patient that you come in contact with.
Experience Needed:
Healthcare AND/OR insurance experience
+Strong accurate data entry skills
Previous work experience in Specialty Pharmacy or Customer Service
Professional level skills in computer use, including but not limited to Microsoft Office, email, web-based applications and key-boarding skills
Experience working with people in situations that are high-pressure and time-sensitive
Pay: $21.00 / hour
Shift: 7am-7pm (fixed shift in that time frame)
Training Schedule: 8:30am-4:30pm - Monday - Friday (no weekends)
