To support the company's objectives as Senior Accountant, you will prepare and consolidate financial statements, analyze and reconcile accounts, analyze cash flow, produce budgets and forecasting, prepare audits, and handle internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. High-level analytical skills are a must. In addition to the solid compensation and benefits, this full-time position offers the possibility of growth. What you get to do every day
Commitment to continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process
Allocate and prepare monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis reports for management
Delegate resources to Ad-hoc projects as necessary
Complete monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables that includes journal entries, reconciliations, and reports in the compensation area in compliance with GAAP
Present Balance Sheet account reconciliations
Analyze financial information and report on financial results (trends, performance metrics, benchmarks)
Assist in coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors
Participate in various department-wide initiatives
Work with business partners to ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures and controls and provide support on special requests
Requirements - Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills
5+ years of overall general accounting experience, ideally with Big 4 experience
BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred
Corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems experience a plus
Ability to thrive in a dynamic, high pressure environment, to prioritize deals and adapt to quick changes while remaining diligent
Prior experience in a public accounting environment is highly valued
Month end closings experience
Well-founded grasp of Quarter-end
Intercompany Eliminations experience
Proven knowledge of year end closings
Expertise in Intercompany Transaction
Comprehensive knowledge of Intercompany Accounting
Workday experience preferred
Excellent verbal, written, and social skills
Seizes opportunities to produce results without direct supervision
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
Experience in SOX control execution/documentation
Efficient in ERP systems
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to complete multiple tasks and projects within deadlines
