Summary:

The Sr. EIM Analyst will provide support and analytics for KCNSC enterprise projects, define processes, and adhere to them. The role is responsible for leading the development of Enterprise Information Products as determined by EIM management and the EIM Governance Council.

  • Working with project work streams, business stakeholders to design, implement and maintain best practice analytics, information products, and processes to support the business including business case and delivery requirements

  • Design and support data models optimized to support analytical tools such as Microstrategy, Tableau, PowerBI and create BI reports

  • Document internal processes and audit procedures to ensure data integrity of solutions

  • Research and resolve unexpected results or internal process flaws. Effectively prioritize and deploy solutions that can replace manual process

  • Utilize analytical and technical skills for translating and analyzing business needs into requirements, driving projects, and delivering effective, while providing value-added solutions

  • Gathers data from multiple sources and performs moderate to complex analysis, generating reports supportive of organizational metrics and client services.

  • Support a variety of information management projects of a highly varied nature including data analysis, data mining and data optimization

  • Develop and follow standard operating procedures for regularly occurring processes

  • Provide guidance on analytics standards, processes, analytics tool functionality (Microstrategy or Tableau)

  • Cross train and provide back-up coverage to other EIM team members when needed

    You Must Have:

  • Bachelors Degree or 6 years equivalent experience

  • 3-5 years of Hands-on experience on analytics tools(Microstrategy, Tableau, PowerBI, Spotfire, R, Python), PeopleSoft, Knowledge of MS Excel

  • Understanding of report development, data modeling, data mining and analysis

  • 2 - 3 years of demonstrated data management experience, including the ability to merge, clean and analyze large amounts of data

  • US citizenship in order to obtain US Dept of Energy ""Q"" level security clearance

  • Experience modelling processes and business rules utilizing BPM tools

  • Ability to clearly document business process & system requirements

  • Ability to communicate effectively with both senior managerial and technical teams.

  • Ability to drive action, deliver results, with agile approach
