Centric Business Systems Warehouse Associate in Owings Mills, Maryland
Job Summary:
Receive, store, and issue materials, equipment, and other items from stockroom or warehouse. Keep records and compile stock reports. Assist with delivery of equipment, part and supplies as needed.
Essential Functions:
Receive and count stock items from UPS and FedEx, LTL carriers and record data manually or using computer
Pack and unpack items to be stocked on shelves in stockroom or warehouse
Verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock, and investigate discrepancies or adjust errors
Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses and parts room
Ship equipment and supplies to customers using proper methods, including UPS World ship
Loading and unloading equipment on and off all delivery trucks
Deliver and install office equipment at customer locations throughout Centric’s marketplace
Clean and maintain supplies, equipment, and storage areas in order to ensure compliance with safety regulations
Determine proper storage methods, identification, and stock location based on turnover, environmental factors, and physical capabilities of facilities
Inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors
Provide assistance or direction to other warehouse workers
Provide support and instruction to customers and service technicians, when necessary
Fill battery water levels and maintain forklift per instruction
Additional Responsibilities:
Deliver equipment and supplies internally to each department
Conduct daily cycle counts for equipment and supplies
Required Qualifications: (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities)
Clerical knowledge of administrative procedures and systems such as Microsoft Office, UPS World ship, managing files and records, designing forms, and other office procedures
Ability to perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling and handling of materials. Lifting requirement-up to 75 lbs – Team lift as much as 300 lbs
Ability to operate a forklift- Forklift certified

Required Education and Experience:
High school diploma required
2-3 years of work experience in a fast paced warehouse
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Required:
Fork Lift Certification
Valid Driver’s License
Clean driving record
