Job Description Summary
Provides custodial services and supports events primarily in Shriver Center; performs a variety of custodial tasks related to setting up events and maintaining the university's buildings, facilities, and grounds. Hours for this position are, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, 11:30 P.M. till 6:30 A.M. (Off Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday.)
Job Description
Essential Duties
- Performs event set ups
- Picks up trash and/or litter from university buildings and grounds; empties trash receptacles
- May sweep and mop rooms and hallways; may dust and perform general cleaning of rooms; may clean windows
- May vacuum and shampoo carpets; may strip and wax floors; may clean and sanitize restrooms
- May pick up and/or deliver equipment and supplies
May perform cleaning/washing duties.
Minimum Requirements
- Requires a high school diploma or GED
- No experience required
May require driver's license
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Ability to understand and follow directions/room set ups
Knowledge of the use of either cleaning equipment/materials
Reporting Relationships Direction Received: Reports to events operations managers Direction Given: May occasionally monitor and train student employees
