Maxim Healthcare Services RN Homecare - Recertification / Supervisory visits in Ozark, Alabama

Maxim Healthcare in Pensacola, FL is hiring for a Registered Nurse to work with Pediatric and/or Adult patients in their own homes.

This position is for RN's with Supervisory/Recertification experience. Experience with Tracheostomy and Ventilator management in a 1:1 setting preferred.

The RN will be responsible for conducting Recertification visits every 60 days, as well as have the option to fill open shifts when needed.

Current Case details:

Pediatric pt w/ G-tube requiring Private Duty Nursing Mon-Fri; 9:00am-5:00pm. LPN currently working case and is fully staffing hours, but PRN coverage needed in case of LPN call-outs/requested time off.

Pay rate info:

Recertification Visits - $75

HR Document Verification / Clinical Competency Evaluation for new nurses - $50

PRN Coverage for open shifts: $30/hr

Our office is looking to expand our territory and take on additional cases in Enterprise, Ozark, and surrounding areas. Supervisory RN needed in order to continue growth in this area. Ideal candidate must be open to additional future needs for Recertification visits. Opportunity for transition to Internal Clinical Supervisor with Maxim possible with continued market growth.

    Responsibilities:

  • Utilizes the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient/client care and/or services provided to client(s) receiving contracted services, as required

  • Initiates the plan of care when directed and requests from prescriber any necessary revisions as patient status and needs change

  • Incorporates therapeutic, preventive, and rehabilitative nursing actions based on patient diagnosis and established goals

  • Intervenes as applicable in response to changes in patient/client condition and reports such changes to appropriate physician or supervisor

  • Administers medications and treatments as prescribed, as well as, monitors and documents effectiveness of intervention

  • Reviews plan of care and program protocols and identifies areas for healthcare teaching/education, care coordination, goal setting and discharge planning needs, as applicable

    Requirements:

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) License for the state in which the nurse practices.

  • Current Health Certificate (per facility Registered Nurse (RN) contract or state regulation).

  • Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.

  • Current BLS card.

  • One year prior Registered Nurse (RN) experience preferred.
