Pay: $19.00/hr
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7 AM - 3 PM
Performs various manual tasks as a general laborer to assist in unloading trucks, railcars and upkeep of rail terminal facility. Fosters teamwork, positive work environment and overall safety of self and others.
All work must conform to customer expectations and company policy and procedures.
Ability to take direction and supervision.
Ability to interpret directions and/or instructions.
Demonstrate predictable, reliable, and timely attendance.
Follow written and verbal directions to complete assigned tasks on schedule.
Read, write, and communicate in English & understand basic math.
Learn from directions, observations, and mistakes and apply procedures using good judgment.
Working knowledge of Watco Safety and Operating principles.
Work independently or as part of a team and interact appropriately with others.
Self-motivated with ability to complete projects with minimum direct supervision.
High level of attention to detail.
Other duties as assigned.
Machines, Tools, Special Equipment, Personal Protective Equipment Used:
Front End Loader, Backhoe, Crane, Forklift, Sweeper and Skid Steer – Broom and Shovels
PPE; hard hat, vest(work clothes), safety glasses, gloves, steel toed boots, ear plugs and respirators
Requirements:
High school education or general education diploma (GED).
Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and driving record satisfactory to the company and its insurers.
Ability to pass training and required testing.
Lifting up to 50 lbs.
